Competiton-Winning Autonomous Rescue Robot

Arduino, C++

Co-led a 4-person team in designing and programming an autonomous robot using Arduino and C++. Our robot stood out for its innovative design and functionality, winning first prize in a university-wide competition. The robot had autonomous and self navigating functionality implemented using C++, a custom motor system and sonar sensors.

Key responsibilities included:

  • Software Development: Writing robust C++ code for autonomous functionality.
  • Version Control: Managing codebase with Git.
  • Documentation: Crafting a comprehensive design brief including problem statement, functional requirements, and Material and SWOT analysis.
  • Project Management: Conducting weekly stand-ups and stakeholder presentations using Microsoft Teams for effective collaboration.
